Islands Classic 2006

After an early Saturday morning loss, the girls bounced back in the afternoon to defeat Real Cal White and felt their very first tournament game win and made it to the Semi Finals on Sunday where they were defeated by the Stars 4-2 after a 4 to 0 first half. The girls played with such heart in the second half, that according to their parents, they were the winners. Good job girls.

The Oaks Classic 2006

The week-end was very successful for the Eclipse girls. Although losing to the Eagles in their first game, they held them to 3 goals, the lowest of any of the other teams. The Eclipse then went on to win their next 3 games by a total combined score of 20 to 2, with two shutouts of 6 to 0 and 9 to 0. The girls placed second in the tournament and were all smiles receiving their first medals. Coach Scott had nice words for every girl when handing out the medals. Way to go girls and nice coaching Scott and Jonathon. We look forward to a very successful season for the Girls Under 9 Eclipse.
